I started making tallow salve in 2021 when my partner began experiencing eczema outbreaks and over the counter medications and natural remedies didn’t help. With a background in farming and cooking—and a comfort level rendering suet—I decided to make something myself.

The formula has barely changed since. It's what I put on burns after a long night on the line, what I give friends who are expecting, and what I used on my mom's skin during her chemotherapy.
